Home | News | September: Concrete Panels, Bridge Beams, and Project Updates

Autumn is here, and it’s been a busy month at CWP Concrete! From impressive concrete panels production to exciting new project wins and our very first bridge beams, September has been packed with milestones worth celebrating.

Impressive Progress on Concrete Panels

By the end of September, we’ll have cast an amazing 4,092 linear metres of concrete panels. This achievement highlights the scale of our current projects and the high-quality standards our team delivers across all CWP projects.

We’ve also been trialling new aggregates to improve our panels. The results are impressive: stronger, more durable, and even more visually appealing panels, perfect for a wide range of construction projects.

New Project Wins

This month, CWP Concrete has secured a variety of new projects:

  • Luddon Construction – 25 precast foundation bases for a New Cumnock development
  • Mossburn Distillery with Muir Construction – supply of 180mm concrete panels
  • Thornton Substation with Luddon – 30 floor slabs for a 400kv substation

It’s great to see such variety in our concrete panel projects, and the team is looking forward to delivering each job with the quality and reliability our clients expect.

Milestone: Our First Bridge Beams

A standout moment this month has been completing our Holyhead bridge support beams, marking CWP’s first bridge project.

The project involved detailed reinforcement and mould design, data collection, and mix testing to meet exact client specifications. This milestone demonstrates CWP’s growing expertise in complex concrete structures and our ability to deliver projects beyond standard concrete panels and slabs.

Another Successful BSI Inspection

September also saw our annual BSI inspection, covering everything from paperwork and physical inspections to staff interviews.

We’re proud to say we passed with flying colours once again, reinforcing our commitment to industry standards and quality assurance across all CWP projects.
