We are dedicated to counteracting our carbon footprint; our experienced and knowledgeable teams have worked very hard to streamline our processes and create a product that reduces the impact that we have on the environment.
Our team have created our own personalised SCC, Self-Compacting Concrete. SCC has been recognised as one of the greatest advances in the concrete industry in the last 20 years and our technical team decided that this would be the best solution to give our customers the best quality concrete products.
The mixture creates an improved surface finish, which reduces the production time and creates less noise and rework. Less intensive, the SCC uses less energy by replacing a percentage of the cement with GGBS, which reduces the amount of Co2 produced in the process.
Dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint, we have created a rainwater harvesting system for our factory which means we recycle all-natural water on our site, recycling over 2 million litres of water since our installation.
We have installed two biomass boilers in our factories, and we use all our own fuel to power our operations. We are proud of the work our dedicated teams have put in to reduce our carbon footprint and to reduce the impact that we have on our environment.
