CWP Concrete invest £750k to significantly expand its Pre-cast Concrete Manufacturing facility in Southwest Scotland.

The new manufacturing building will be completed in early March. The new facility will allow the business to grow its core portfolio of precast concrete products. The facility will see the introduction of a 650-kw biomass boiler. This will support the businesses’ sustainability goals and make the business more energy efficient.

A new purpose-built welfare facility is also included in the developments. The steel-framed buildings will be supplied and erected by Robinsons. The new welfare facilities will provide an improved environment including a canteen, a drying room and an allocated car parking area.

A new security access system will be installed. This includes a new electronic gate system and access barrier.  New key fob access and intercom for inbound deliveries will give the business better control over vehicle access and improve the traffic management system.

The new building will be fully commissioned in the next couple of weeks expanding our capacity to produce our core product range.
