Meeting Growing Demand with State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Solutions

CWP Concrete has invested in four new fabricated steel interlocking block moulds, increasing production capacity by 100%. This expansion allows our state-of-the-art precast and pre-stressed concrete manufacturing facility in Southwest Scotland to produce approximately 3,000 blocks per year, with plans to grow this number in the coming years.


Meeting Increased Demand for Interlocking Blocks

Recently, the CWP team has experienced a significant rise in demand for concrete interlocking blocks, particularly from the Waste Management sector. Thanks to our 3,000m² onsite manufacturing facility, we’ve been able to scale production to help clients meet tight project deadlines.

For instance, recent orders for interlocking blocks will be used to construct various-sized bunkers at a waste recycling site. These blocks are highly versatile and provide solutions for industrial and agricultural businesses, including:

Our blocks are designed a 2.5t lifting eye in each block. This connects to a standard ring clutch and can make off-loading and positioning much quicker and simpler than other solutions available.”
