CWP Concrete has secured a contract with UK’S largest ground engineering contractor Van-Elle.

CWP will be supplying concrete piles and beams to service Van-Elle’s foundation systems for residential housing developments across the UK. Piled foundations are used across the construction industry to support varying sizes of structures such as houses, high-rise buildings, office blocks and highway and rail infrastructure. 

Production in CWP’s 3,000m2 onsite manufacturing facility in Southwest Scotland will start in September 2019. CWP design team worked closely with the Van-Elle design team to manufacture the concrete beams to their exact specifications. Unique moulds and steel cages were designed to enable the production of a unique ground solution for Van-Elle and their clients.

Our ability to increase production and modify products allows us to provide solutions that are not found from mainstream concrete suppliers.”

CWP’s manufacturing facility boasts its own on-site concrete batching capability. The facility includes a 4,000m2 area dedicated to stock storage for clients to be able to call off products efficiently for delivery to sites across the UK. The CWP team have access to in-house fabrication services, and this enhances the ability to work more closely with contractors across a range of sectors on concrete products.  

CWP works with clients across sectors including defence, waste, floor alleviation, highways and ground engineering contractors. CWP deliver a core range of pre-cast and pre-stressed concrete products to industry and agricultural sectors including Concrete wall panels, free-standing A Walls, T Walls and L Walls, Interlocking Concrete Blocks, Feeder Systems and Concrete Driven Piles.
