We are delighted to announce that we are now BSI ISO 14001 accredited.
Our team have been working hard going through the process for ISO 14001 and we are pleased to say that we have been given the full accreditation for our Environmental Management Systems and for the controls we have in place.
ISO 4001 accreditation shows that as a business we are committed to operating to strict quality and environmental controls, providing a quality product consistently and reducing the impact we have on the environment.
We are dedicated to counteracting our carbon footprint; we have created a rainwater harvesting system for our factory which means that we recycle all-natural water on our site; we have installed a biomass boiler and use all our own fuel to power our factory; we also know that creating concrete uses a lot of energy and we have established methods of working that will allow us to use less energy for example by replacing a percentage of the cement with GGBS which reduces the amount of Co2 produced in the process.
Our customers can be assured that we are acting responsibly and it allows us to show how hard we have worked to ensure that we can reduce the impact we have on our environment.
