CWP worked alongside the contractor who conducted a site excavation to prepare the area for the creation of a 200’ x 80’ silage pit, which was split into 2 x 40’ wide pits. The contracting team laid a hardcore base and necessary foundations prior to the installation of a centre wall using 57 CWP precast concrete 3m T Walls (available in 2 or 3 metre heights. Rebar was fixed to area of the pit and included L Bars for an external shuttered wall.
The concrete floor was laid using a 36m pump and a 600mm high shutter perimeter stub wall was created. To finish off the project, our team excavated and formed earth bank walls. An alternative option to the shuttered walls would be our Precast L Walls (available in 2 or 3 metre heights).
