Precast Concrete Factory Manager

Location: Lockerbie, Dumfries and Galloway
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, Dependent on Experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours + overtime available

As the working factory manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our precast concrete manufacturing facility. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage all aspects of factory operations including production, quality control and staffing
• Lead and develop a team of production operatives
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce waste
• Monitor production and prepare regular performance reports for senior management
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and on-time delivery of products
• Maintain equipment
• Fill in and return all daily check sheets.
• Work alongside operatives to achieve production targets

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in managing precast concrete or similar manufacturing facilities
• Strong understanding of production processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to safety, quality, and team development
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
