Show Season Round Up
16th July 2019
Our teams have been busy planning for our biggest show season yet and come rain or shine we’ve had a great start to this year’s events all across the UK!
We wanted to make this year even bigger and better! We partnered with a host of suppliers to bring you the latest in farming innovation and products so we could deliver a full project solution.
In January we attended the brand new and indoors LAMMA Show; LAMMA’s move to the NEC in Birmingham has been hailed as a great success by many of the thousands of visitors who travelled to the event to see over 650 exhibitors. Our teams certainly had a great time, partnering with Robinsons who manufacture and erect a range of steel framed buildings.
In May, we attended a scorcher of an event at ScotGrass in Dumfries, celebrating all the new technology available in the silaging sector. We again partnered with Robinsons bringing our new range of precast products that are perfect for the arable market creating a fantastic showcase display! We were also lucky enough to partner with our supplier of agricultural internals, FarmFit.
The sun was shining on a great event and it was great to meet all our local customers for the day!
With the show season in full flow, the weather was not so kind during our visit to Cereals. Cereals is the top technical event for the UK arable industry with visitors from all over the UK and internationally.
However our Directors car didn’t fair so well getting onto the show field!
Even though the weather was very extreme for a June show we all had a great time and we are going to be back bigger and better next year!
Royal Highland Show:
Next up was our annual trip to Edinburgh for the 179th Royal Highland Show. A record-breaking 195,400 visitors attended the show at Ingliston over the four days to experience rural life at its best!
It was a team effort to create our Highland Show stand, from our design teams who designed our stand, our manufacturing team who created our products, transport teams who got all of our equipment there on time and the erectors who spent weeks creating our fantastic stand – a massive thank you to all the teams who were involved in making it a success! Partnering with FarmFit, Robinsons and Etex for this years event!
We saw a record number of visitors this year and the sun held out for most of this one for us but we were happy to provide a bit shelter too when the traditional Scottish weather did creep in!
We still have more to come including Stewartry Show, The Black Isle Show, Dumfries Show and Agriscot!
